He is also currently ranked as a Bank 1 Fintech lawyer in Gibraltar for 2018/19. Joey co-chaired the Government’s working group on Blockchain for 3 years which was specifically established to develop the infrastructure to accommodate a DLT regulatory framework in Gibraltar. Joey is a member of the prestigious global Wharton Reg@Tech think tank in Philadelphia which brings together fintech academics and Regulators from around the world to discuss issues and current developments in the sector.
